SEAN UA GUILIDHE asked the President whether he will state why no appointment has been made to the position of Librarian to Lismore District Libraries.

The PRESIDENT: The Local Appointments Commissioners issued their recommendation of a suitable candidate for appointment to the temporary non-pensionable post of librarian and secretary Carnegie Free Library, Lismore, on the 21st September last. I have no information as to the action taken by the Library Committee upon this recommendation, but inquiries are being made in the matter.
