Mr. A.J. CASSIDY asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether [24] the Land Commission Inspector who visited Killygordon district reported in favour of the construction of a road from Mullaghaneary Road to the upper road leading to Ballybofey, and, if so, whether he will make the necessary arrangements for the proposed work to be commenced before Christmas.

Mr. RODDY: The Land Commission are not prepared to undertake the construction of the entire road referred to. They have, however, sanctioned expenditure in connection with the Gallagher Estate for the construction of portion of the road for the purpose of giving better access to some dwelling houses.
