Mr. COBURN asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the total quantity of yeast imported into the Free State for the years 1926, 1927 and 1928.

Mr. McGILLIGAN: The quantities of yeast imported were 15,048 cwt. in 1926, 13,868 cwt. in 1927 and 10,571 cwt. in the ten months January to October, 1928. The corresponding figures for the first ten months of 1926 and of 1927 were 12,321 cwt, and 11,534 cwt.
