Mr. COLOHAN Mr. COLOHAN Mr. COLOHAN asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if it is the intention of the Land Commission to hand over possession of the lands, comprising about 880 acres, recently acquired in the Ballymore Eustace district, Co. Kildare, to the allottees during the month of November, in order that preparations can be made for the sowing of next season's crops, and, if not, whether he will expedite the transfer of these lands. Mr. RODDY Mr. RODDY Mr. RODDY: The Land Commission have acquired the lands of Bishopsland, containing 513 acres or thereabouts, in the Ballymore Eustace district under the provisions of the Land Acts. They are being dealt with as rapidly as possible, but the Commissioners will not be in a position to allot them in November. 1141 Proceedings have been instituted by the Land Commission for the acquisition [1141] of the lands of Broadleas Common, Horsepasstown, Kilmalum and Silvertown Lower, containing in all 303a. 2r. 9p., in the same district, and the price of the lands has been fixed and published. The owner has now appealed to the Judicial Commissioner on the question of price. Mr. COLOHAN Mr. COLOHAN Mr. COLOHAN: Could the Parliamentary Secretary say when the lands on the Wolfe Estate will be divided? Mr. RODDY Mr. RODDY Mr. RODDY: I could not say.
