CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - DUBLIN RELIEF SCHEMES.

Mr. A. BYRNE asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether any relief schemes to reduce unemployment in Dublin have been recommended to him by the local authority; whether he can state when such proposals are likely to be put into operation, and whether he will expedite the matter.

MINISTER for FISHERIES (Mr. Lynch) (for Minister for Local Government and Public Health): The answer is in the negative. I understand, however, that work will commence at an early date on a scheme involving the erection of over 500 houses for the Commissioners.
