Professor THRIFT: May I ask the Vice-President is it the intention of the Government to give time for the Children Bill before the recess or not?

Mr. BLYTHE: I am afraid it will hardly be possible to take it before the recess. There are two or three points that require examination by the Government in connection with it and it would be scarcely possible to have that examination in time to take it before the recess.
