CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - AMENDMENT OF ARTICLE 11.

Mr. NOLAN asked the President whether he will introduce proposals for legislation to amend Article 11 of the Constitution in order that a lease or licence of State lands may be made, if necessary, for a term exceeding 99 years.

MINISTER for EDUCATION (Professor O'Sullivan (replying for the President): The question of altering Article 11 of the Constitution in the sense indicated by the Deputy is at present under consideration.
