AN CEANN COMHAIRLE: Would the President state, for the information of the House, what time to-morrow the Committee will resume?

The PRESIDENT: I would like to say that I cannot allow more than an hour for this motion to-morrow. It must be concluded within an hour. If not, I shall have to move that the question be put.

Mr. McCARTHY: Would it facilitate the Government to have the question put now?

The PRESIDENT: I will take it now if you like.

AN CEANN COMHAIRLE: I will not take a motion now that the question be put, but I will consider the matter carefully to-morrow.

The PRESIDENT: We will resume the Committee to-morrow, after we finish the three items of legislation on the Order Paper.
