CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - A CLAREMORRIS ACCOUNT.

Mr. MARTIN M. NALLY asked the Minister for Defence if he will state what is the reason for the delay in settling the account, amounting to £103, due since November, 1922, to Miss Julia Begley, Merchant, Claremorris, for goods sold and delivered to Military Headquarters, Claremorris, and if he will issue instructions to have same settled forthwith.

MINISTER for DEFENCE (The President): Mrs. Begley's account does not appear to have been received at [496] Headquarters. An officer has, however, been instructed to interview her on the matter.

Mr. McBRIDE: Would the President be surprised to know that I was twice at Headquarters on this?

The PRESIDENT: No, it would not surprise me.
