Mr. ALFRED BYRNE asked the Minister for Justice if he will state the number of ejectment orders granted against tenants in the Saorstát Courts for the past six months.

Mr. O'HIGGINS: During the period mentioned 162 ejectment orders were granted in the Dublin Metropolitan Police Courts, 616 in the County Courts, and 741 in the District Courts, making a total of 1,519.
