SEAN MAC GIOLLA 'N RIOGH asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that Mr. McDermott, Shercock, Co. Cavan, has a claim for about £900 for cars, petrol, loss of garage, etc., taken by the British Forces, and if he can state how settlement of same can be expedited.

Mr. BLYTHE: The claim referred to by the Deputy was lodged not with my Department, but with the Compensation (Ireland) Commission, which body will, no doubt, communicate as soon as possible to the claimant the result of their investigations.
