Major COOPER asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state when the Resettlement Branch of his Ministry was created, its total cost to date, and its estimated cost in the coming financial year.

Mr. McGILLIGAN: This Branch was created in July, 1923. Its total cost to 31st March, 1924, was £1,893. Its total estimated cost for the present financial year is £3,611. These total amounts include charges borne on the votes of other Departments.
