WRITTEN ANSWERS. - COMPENSATION FOR CATTLE KILLED.

TOMAS O CONAILL asked the Minister for Defence whether compensation has yet been paid to Thos. Kelly, of Ballybane, Claremorris, and Pat Duffy, of Meelickmore, Claremorris, on account of cattle killed by a military [3192] lorry between Brickens and Bekan Station on 17th March, 1923, and, if not, whether he will see that these long outstanding claims are finally paid.

The PRESIDENT: The claims of Thomas Kelly and Patrick Duffy are at present under investigation. They will be decided at an early date.
